T & K Suppressors (T and K Hunting Gear, LLC)
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing a titanium suppressor from T & K Suppressors. This manual provides essential information regarding safe use, installation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Please read this guide thoroughly before installing or operating your suppressor.
Failure to follow the instructions and warnings contained in this manual may result in damage to the suppressor, firearm, or serious personal injury.
2. Safety Information

Always verify the firearm is unloaded before installing, removing, or servicing the suppressor.

Wear appropriate eye and hand protection during installation and maintenance.

Always confirm proper suppressor alignment using a bore alignment rod before firing to prevent baffle or end-cap strikes.

Use only SAAMI- or CIP-compliant ammunition.

Do not exceed the suppressor’s firing schedule:

The VORIX and ALTUS are not fully auto rated.

Suppressors can reach extreme temperatures during use. Allow the suppressor to cool completely before handling.

Operate firearms and suppressors only in well-ventilated areas to reduce exposure to lead and other hazardous substances.

Wash hands thoroughly after handling firearms or suppressors.
3. Regulations & Legal Compliance
This suppressor is regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA). Ownership, possession, transfer, and use must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Suppressors must be stored securely. Allowing access by unauthorized individuals may create serious legal risk, including potential constructive possession issues depending on circumstances.
Exporting this suppressor is strictly prohibited without proper authorization in compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations.
4. Installation
Thread Interfaces

Installation Steps
A. Attaching the Mount to the Suppressor

Apply a small amount of copper anti-seize to the mount threads.
-
Hand-thread the mount into the suppressor.
-
Torque the mount to 25 ft-lbs, unless otherwise specified by the mount manufacturer.
B. Attaching the Suppressor to the Rifle
-
Ensure muzzle threads are clean and free of debris.
-
Thread the suppressor onto the barrel or mounted muzzle device.
-
For direct-thread configurations, hand-tighten firmly.
-
If torque is specified by the mount manufacturer, do not exceed 25 ft-lbs.
C. Alignment Check

Always verify alignment using a bore alignment rod prior to firing.

Third-party HUB-compatible mounts must not exceed 1.65 inches in length measured from the top of the HUB interface threads.
5. Maintenance
Cleaning Frequency

Clean every 2,500 rounds or sooner for optimal performance.
Cleaning Methods
Soak Cleaning
-
Mix 1 part Simple Green to 4 parts water.
-
Submerge the suppressor for up to 24 hours.
-
Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
-
Dry completely before reassembly or use.
Note: Avoid extended soaking of mounts or accessories containing aluminum or mixed metals.
Ultrasonic Cleaning (Recommended)

Use a 1:4 diluted Simple Green solution.
-
Run ultrasonic cleaner for 15–20 minutes.
-
Do not use heat.
-
Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
Tip: Extreme Simple Green® or equivalent precision cleaners are acceptable alternatives for ultrasonic use.
Coating Precautions

Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or wire brushes.
-
Improper cleaning methods may damage DLC or hBN coatings and void warranty coverage.

7. Firing Schedule / Full-Auto Rating

Due to the short blast chamber, the VORIX and ALTUS are not full auto rated.
8. Warranty
This suppressor is covered by the T & K Suppressors Warranty.
Damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, or operation outside of rated specifications is not covered under warranty.

By purchasing, possessing, or using any suppressor manufactured or sold by T & K Suppressors, the user acknowledges and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with its use.
T & K Suppressors shall not be liable for personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss arising from misuse, improper installation, failure to follow provided instructions or safety guidelines, use with non-rated firearms or ammunition, unauthorized modifications, excessive firing schedules, improper maintenance, or use in violation of applicable laws.
Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product as expressly provided under the applicable warranty. Under no circumstances shall T & K Suppressors be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
